Maple Oatmeal Cookies | Easy Cookie Recipe | How To Make Maple Oatmeal Cookies
Slight variation (for better health) on the recipe
3/4 cup butter- room temperature
3/4 cup maple syrup
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups oats
1 cup chocolate chips (dark chocolate/low sugar if possible)
Optional: if the dough is too thick for mixing...or if you just want a smoother cookie, add 1/3 to 1 cup of egg whites.
Using a hand mixer, table top mixer, or sturdy spoon if a mixer is not available, thoroughly mix the ingredients.
On a cookie sheet sprayed with oil, place small balls (you can use your hand or a spoon) on the cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Place in a preheated oven.
bake 12 minutes at 350
